Ministry: Deaf Sound (Le Son Du Sourd, in French)

Summary: Deaf Sound is a charity organization which aims at facilitating education for Deaf children as well as providing social/professional integration and spiritual growth among the Deaf communities in Cameroon and beyond.

​

Some of their long term goals include; building a social and educational center for the Deaf, running a Sign Language DTS, hosting secondary University of Nations schools, developing community services for the Deaf reaching bodies, minds, and souls, and providing Deaf people with equal opportunities, etc.

​

Target People: Kids, mothers, fathers, teens and hearing communities through awareness.

​

YWAM training available for the Deaf: Not yet, praying to start a seminar in a year or so followed by a Sign language DTS in two years, the Lord’s willing.

​

Current number of other Staff/Volunteers: 3

​

Special Prayer Requests:

• Need of staff with a passion for the Deaf.

• Deaf Christians committed to the vision.

• Funds to rent or build and equip a center for the Deaf ministries.
